2020 LRDP Update Environmental Review
With the proposal to adopt the UC Davis Sacramento Campus 2020 Long Range Development Plan Update (2020 LRDP Update), UC Davis prepared the 2020 LRDP Update Draft Supplemental Environmental Impact Report (Supplemental EIR), pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and published on July 31, 2020. The Draft Supplemental EIR analyzed the potential environmental impacts of implementing the 2020 LRDP Update and the potential project-specific environmental effects associated with the Aggie Square Phase I component of the 2020 LRDP Update.
The Draft Supplemental EIR was circulated for review and comment by the public and other interested parties, agencies, and organizations from July 31, 2020 to September 17, 2020. A public hearing was held on September 3, 2020 to receive verbal input on the Draft EIR. After close of the public comment period, responses to written and oral comments on environmental issues have been prepared and included in the Final Supplemental EIR.
UC Davis prepared a Final Supplemental Environmental Impact Report (EIR) in accordance with the requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), the State CEQA Guidelines, and other applicable laws for the UC Davis Sacramento Campus 2020 Long Range Development Plan Update. The State Clearinghouse Number assigned for the project is 2020020161.
The 2020 LRDP Update and the Final Supplemental EIR were presented to the Board of Regents of the University of California at their November 18 & 19, 2020 meeting. The Board of Regents certified the Sacramento Campus 2020 LRDP Final Supplemental EIR on November 19, 2020. Additionally the project specific Aggie Square Phase 1A project was approved.
