UC Davis Sacramento Health Central Utility Plant (CUP) Expansion Project constructs an approximately 40,000-gross-square-foot expansion to the CUP, providing necessary space for equipment and operations enhancement to improve utility capacity, reliability, and performance. The project also upgrades the existing building and operations to meet seismic code compliance. The project is designed to position UC Davis Health to move towards sustainability requirements with electrified CUP operations over the long-term through a new dedicated connection to the local electricity provider. The components of the CUP Expansion Project include both make-ready projects and CUP expansion construction and operation.
