About the Office of Environmental Planning

Informing UC Davis activities both on and off campus, UC Davis compliance with the California Environmental Quality Act requires careful strategy and coordination with the planning and design of proposed projects at the Davis campus, Sacramento Health campus, and all off campus locations. The Office of Environmental Planning manages the UC Davis CEQA efforts and compliance with other federal and state environmental regulations.

The Office of Environmental Planning is part of Campus Planning and Environmental Stewardship organization which includes the Arboretum and Public Garden, the Office of Campus Planning, the Office of Sustainability and Transportation Services. Together these departments oversee how the university uses its land, accommodates transportation and subsequently, how these uses impact the goals we have for our environment.
