California Hospital Tower Project Final Environmental Impact Report (EIR)
UC Davis prepared a Final Environmental Impact Report (EIR) in accordance with the requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), the State CEQA Guidelines, and other applicable laws for the UC Davis Sacramento Campus California Hospital Tower Project.
The Final EIR consists of three volumes: Volume 1, California Hospital Tower Project Final EIR, Volume 2, Appendices to the Final EIR, and Volume 3 consists of responses to comments, revisions to the Draft EIR, and the mitigation monitoring and reporting program for the California Hospital Tower Project.
The State Clearinghouse Number assigned for the project is 2021020515.
The Board of Regents reviewed and certified the UC Davis Sacramento Campus California Hospital Tower Project Final EIR on November 18, 2021.

The California Tower EIR Addendum #1 discloses information regarding the infeasibility of using only electric cranes during construction of the Project, as previously required in Mitigation Measure AQ-2a. The mitigation measure has been updated to allow for non-electric cranes to be used provided that other construction equipment be electrified to the extent necessary to result in no new or increased environmental impacts. The full language of the updated mitigation can be viewed in the Addendum #1 below.
