UC Davis Amendment to the 2018 Long Range Development Plan to Address Impacts on Crotch's Bumble Bee and West Village Open Space Improvements Project

The Subsequent IS/MND was prepared to assess the potential environmental effects of the proposed Amendment to the 2018 LRDP to Address Impacts on Crotch's Bumble Bee (Bombus crotchii), which was designated as a candidate for listing as endangered under the California Endangered Species Act (CESA) by the California Fish and Game Commission in September, 2022. In addition, the West Village Open Space Improvements Project will construct a new open space and agriculture buffer around the West Village Student Housing Neighborhood at UC Davis. The Project will create an agricultural buffer and open space areas vegetated with approximately 15 acres new native plantings and storm water basins on the northern, eastern and southern edges of the West Village Neighborhood.
